Janna Dominguez is Jamie Ann Quisumbing Angeles in real life. She was born on March 11, 1990 and if we will calculate her age, she is only 19 years old. But seeing her on TV, you would actually think she’s older because she acts so matured.

Her hometown is Dagat-dagatan, Malabon. She had her schooling in Sacred Heart Catholic School, Arandia Academy and Olivarez College in Paranaque.

Manuel Chua Jr. a.k.a. Supermanuel in the Pinoy Fear Factor is lucky to have big roles in the two shows of Kapamilya Network. First is his portrayal as Dr. Ed Lacson in Bud Brothers and now the upcoming romantic comedy series George and Cecil of Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos.

Considered as the hottest among the male Participantes, Manuel will be partnered with Judy Ann in George and Cecil. Playing the object of Ryan’s jealousy on screen is hard enough, let alone doing a scene with Judy Ann who is known in the industry as the “young superstar.” “Ang sarap ng feeling. Looking forward na nga ako maka-trabaho siya. Pero kabado rin ako kasi siyempre siya ang ‘young superstar.’ Unang regular acting job ko siya agad ang makakasama ko,” said Manuel.

The first time I saw Cristina on her sexy one two piece swim suit inside Pinoy Dream Academy’s house. I thought it was a bit over. So I checked her out and see what this girl is up to. But as the show progresses Cris proves she is just comfortable with her body and she is not actually just showing of. She inspires me to be sexy even without appearing too liberated but instead with confidence.

I just miss seeing Cristina inside the PDA’s house. And I am glad that some inspiring pictures of my epitome of beautiful and sexy lady are still accessible in the internet.

The El Ultimo Participante JommyTeotico get his first acting break in George and Cecil. Together with Marion, also a Pinoy Fear Factor participante, they will join the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy series George and Cecil top-billed by real-life couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

I think if I am not mistaken, Manuel Chua is also in the cast but lately it turned out that Marion Dela Cruz is also added in the show.

In George and Cecil, Jommy, will play Ryan’s chauvinistic best friend.  “Maswerte kami na makakatrabaho namin sina Judy Ann at Ryan pati na rin si Direk Joey Reyes (headwriter and director of George and Cecil). Maswerte rin kami kasi may character talaga kami sa story, hindi lang basta supporting o extra,” said Jommy in an interview.

In the latest offering of ABS-CBN in the Hapontastic timeslot – the Precious Hearts Romance stories turned TV series Bud Brothers, Manuel “Supermanuel” is one of the characters in the eight best selling novels written by Rose Tan. Manuel Chua plays the character of Dr. Ed Lacson which will have a love triangle story with Pete Labrador, played by Joem Bascon and Janna Dominguez as Tammy.

Janna Dominguez the 1^st Place winner of Pinoy Fear Factor is in the Precious Hearts Romances best selling novel turned TV series in ABS-CBN. The Bud Brother Book 4 “Tail You Lose, Head You’re Mine” features her in a love story with Joem Bascon and is shown on the first week of June 2009. And here is the love triangle twist, also in the story is Manuel Chua Jr., the superman of Pinoy Fear Factor as Dr. Ed. Ironically, if you still remember Janna, Manuel and Marion had their own real life love triangle issue back in Argentina.

I never thought that Laarni has already achieved so much since the time she won in ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Dream Academy. I just want to post this hoping it could help erase some of the misconception that Laarni got when she was still inside the PDA.

Biography

Laarni Losala (b. June 23, 1985) is a Filipino singer and performer from Sultan Kudarat, who is a contestant in ABS-CBN’s popular reality TV talent search Pinoy Dream Academy - the Philippine edition of Endemol’s Star Academy. Her voice has been hailed as one of the most emotive voices in the Philippines. She is also known as “The Voice of An Angel”, the “Ethereal Diva”, “Versatile diva” and the “Independent Woman”. Although she does sing many other musical genres, her specialty lies in classical, operatic and rock music.

Raised in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat in the Philippines, Laarni Losala, was just a simple girl with big dreams.Laarni was a consistent honor student in school in Isulan, she also excelled in the arts such as dancing and is also a very good farmer. Even at a very young age, she found solace emulating and listening to her idols Lea Salonga and Regine Velasquez, she schooled herself early on to singing the songs of her musical idols.She won various singing competitions in Sultan Kudarat to further hone her singing and performing skills. Knowing that she had the talent to really make it big, she dreamed that one day, she would be able make her mark in the music scene of the Philippines as a famous recording artist and help her family escape the claws of poverty.

When she was 15 years old, her Aunt from the US vowed to help Laarni make her mark as a singer. Her aunt enrolled Laarni to performing and voice lessons and also enrolled her at the School of Music of The Philippine Women’s University. Although her aunt was not a singer, she was all out for her support for Laarni, she would teach her how to use her hands when she was singing, she would teach her how to use her face in expressing the meaning of her songs in order to better her performances. She taught her to observe her gestures, her non-verbal actions when she was performing. Through her aunt’s connections, she became a talent of the late and great Rudy Francisco of the Calesa Bar. Rudy also mentored some of the finest lounge singers in the Philippines like Sitti, Mari Nallos, Janet Basco, Vernie Varga, Joey Albert, Dulce, Marissa Sanchez, Ivy Violan, Isay Alvarez, Lourna Pal, Aliya Parcs, Raymond Lauchenco and the Side A band.

Feeling culture shocked about the sophistication of her peers, who were all fashionable and eloquent in english, Laarni decided to shift her course from Music to Education. Laarni, vowed to become a better person, a better performer, an eloquent speaker and a confident singer.

She is a devout Catholic who found solace in singing at the PWU Church everyday. She would sing at the 12 noon mass and vocalize everyday to further hone her voice. She would vocalize with her church friends and co-singers. This singing exposure helped Laarni become a permanent fixture at all events of The Philippine Women’s University, she would sing for different functions, singing competitions and other guestings. Her talent also helped her become a University scholar, which required Laarni to work as a student assistant of the school.
